About Us

New IDEA Workshops is a ministry of Paraclete Mission Group led by Tom Wood the Ministry Director, and Debbie Wood the Director of Training and Curriculum.

Tom and Debbie have been serving in ministry for over 30 years with the following ministries:

  • AD2000 and Beyond Movement

  • BEE World

  • iTEE Global

  • Paraclete Mission Group

Over those 30 years Tom and Debbie realized that most disciples of Christ are ill-equipped to disciple others as the Great Commission asked us to do. The Great Commission is for every believer, but most are not competent or confident they can teach like Jesus did and make disciples who will become mature disciple makers. Therefore, the church is not as effective at making mature disciples as it could be.

Our passion is to help equip all believers to be well prepared to with the skills to disciple others as Jesus did. This is an enormous task and impossible for Tom and Debbie to do alone. Tom and Debbie both have cancer, and need reinforcements to come along side to serve with them. We need others who also have this same passion to see the Church disciple others effectively as Jesus did. Will you join us on this journey to make a difference?
