Workshop Trainers

 These trainers must have taken a Mew IDEA workshop as a student before they can lead a workshop. This role will need to travel in the US and possibly overseas to lead these trainings. Qualifications: Must have taken a New IDEA workshop as a student. Must have a passion for seeing students learn, but NO formal education on teaching required. Any formal education and teaching experience is a plus.

Workshop Table Coaches

This role leads an assigned small group within the New IDEA workshop. This role will coach/mentor a small group of students in their group discussions, and in developing their practice teaching. This role has the opportunity to travel overseas as a short-term mission project. Qualifications: Must have taken the New IDEA workshop as a student. No formal education on teaching required. Anyone from teenager to old age is welcomed to serve in this role.

Executive Administrator and Event Planner

Provides administrative support to the New IDEA Workshop leadership and trainers. This role will work with leaders in the US and overseas to plan and implement the training workshops. This role will handle all of the travel arrangements and on the ground arrangements with the leadership on location. This role will plan and schedule all training events, and track the needed financial plans and expenses for all events. This role will also travel with the teaching team to handle all of the administrative and logistical needs on location. This is a key leadership role to implement the New IDEA workshop trainings. Qualifications: Must have experience in planning and implementing events, and have experience in making travel arrangements. Overseas travel experience and working with other cultures would be very helpful. Must have good people skills, and attention to details.

Funding Development Administrator

Uses funding development tools and practices to acquire the necessary funding to adequately support the ministry of New IDEA Workshops. This person will write grant/funding proposals, and develop relationships with key contacts from foundations and churches to help them catch the vision of the New IDEA Workshop ministry. This person also trains IDEA Workshop staff members on how to raise their own personal support.

Graphic Artist

Supports the graphics needs for, Communications, and website development areas of the ministry. Writer/Editor Assist course writers in writing/editing courses. Help in the development of communications materials, and resources for funding developing. .

End User Technical Support Analyst

Works with staff and students to help them use New IDEA Workshop’s computer tools and systems. Qualifications: Knowledge of common computer systems and tools (e.g., Windows, Macintosh, Android, iOS, MS Office), and an ability to work with people to help them use these systems in their training or studying activities.

Information Technology Project Leader

 Leads IT projects from concept to completion, including: needs assessment; solution design; development / selection of solutions; business process redesign; implementation / migration; user training. Includes management and staff communication associated with projects. Potential projects include: email / file sharing system upgrade, website support and upgrades.

Web Designer/Programmer

Provides web support for the New IDEA Workshops website. Please enquirer as to the specific computer languages and skills required.
